About Chef Paul

Born and raised on the sunny island of Barbados, Chef Paul Griffith discovered his passion for food and entrepreneurship at an early age.
At just 14, he launched his first pizza-making business, preparing food for classmates and using the proceeds to purchase school supplies. What began as a schoolboy hustle would ultimately become the foundation of a career built around cuisine, hospitality and service.
Paul later moved from Barbados to Miami to pursue his culinary education at Johnson & Wales University. While still in college, a connection with the legendary reggae band Inner Circle opened the door to Circle House Studios, where he prepared meals for internationally recognized recording artists, producers and entertainers.
That experience became a launching point into the world of private chef service. Paul went on to cook for an extraordinary roster of clients, including Denzel Washington, Martin Lawrence, Lenny Kravitz, Enrique Iglesias and other leaders in entertainment, business and professional sports.
One relationship would prove especially influential. While cooking for Denzel Washington during the filming of Out of Time, conversations between the two about health and fitness encouraged Paul to incorporate personal training and performance-focused nutrition into his work, an approach that would later become an important part of his career.
What started in a school kitchen in Barbados has evolved into more than 25 years of creating exceptional culinary experiences for discerning clients around the world.
In 2003, Chef Paul became private chef to the CEO of a multibillion-dollar investment firm, preparing meals at the family’s South Florida estate and service for their private aircraft. During this time, he further expanded his expertise in fitness, nutrition and personalized wellness.
In 2007, Paul launched his own company, combining culinary expertise, performance nutrition and personal training to serve clients across entertainment, business and professional sports.
Committed to growing as both a chef and entrepreneur, Paul earned his MBA in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, adding business leadership to an already diverse culinary career.
In 2012, Chef Paul was retained as private chef to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, preparing customized meals for Johnson and his family for six years. The experience further expanded Paul’s expertise in high-performance cuisine and nutrition.
Chef Paul’s career has also taken him internationally. In Beijing, China, he helped spearhead the first Caribbean-China Food Festival, collaborating with international embassies and government representatives to introduce Caribbean cuisine to more than 1,500 guests.
Today, his travels continue to influence his culinary style, blending global inspiration with his Caribbean roots and more than 25 years of professional experience.
